About Us
Acts2Fellowship International (or A2F International for short) is a Christian group for international students at Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. We’re a ministry of Acts2 International.
Our Purpose
We are passionate about sharing our Christian faith and mentoring international students through their college and graduate school experience in America.
We want to be the space where students can come, study the Bible, and grow in faith together. Along the way, we have fun, take trips, eat good food, and go through the ups and downs of life together.
We hope that those who crossed paths with us would say that they’ve found a home away from home in their time spent at A2F International.
Our Team
Aaron Fong
Third generation Asian American with roots in Guangdong, China, I lived most of my life in California before moving to Pittsburgh.
I graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Sociology and now work as a customer engagement manager. In my spare time I love exploring new places with my 2 kids and inviting people over to our house for a home cooked meal.
Angel Fong
I was born and raised in Taiwan, and immigrated to San Jose, California when I was in middle school. Somehow I managed to only speak Chinese and hang out with Chinese friends before going to college! Now I work as a Human Resources professional, and in my spare time I enjoy biking, coffee, and listening to investigative podcast. Ask me if you need resume help!
Jason Lu
I grew up in Shanghai, China, and immigrated to the US with my family when I was 11 to San Diego, California. Because of that, I love the beach and mexican food (and chinese food too)!
I work as a software engineer. I like to play badminton, basketball, run, and bike. My friends love to eat with me cause I really enjoy food and I’m always on the search for the next best place to eat!
Olivia Lu
I was born in Arcadia, California, but I moved to Taipei when I was age 3. I grew up in tropical Taiwan until high school, and moved to the U.S. for college. I’ve always loved art, and I’m lucky I get to do UX design as my career.
I got married to Jason (the guy above) in 2017, and we have one daughter, Aurora! When I’m not working, I love cooking, eating (especially noodles and spicy food), and reading a book!
Bon Jin Koo
Hey y'all! I grew up near LA, but now I call Pittsburgh home. I currently work at the Software Engineering Institute at CMU. I enjoy bouldering, photography, and reading science fiction. My friends say that I'm a good storyteller, but I'm looking forward to hearing yours!
Danny Yu
I grew up in Taiwan and moved between Dallas and Taipei a couple times before settling in the States. I graduated from University of Pittsburgh and now work as a software engineer in the area.
I love biking along the trails around Pittsburgh to explore new outdoor areas and places to take my friends to. I’m into yo-yoing as well!
I also love cooking different kinds of food, especially Taiwanese and Japanese.
